Why: Sell handcrafted and collectible items, and products and services from local vendors
Provide a place where local clubs & organizations can promote their group & raise funds

At John Wayne Jaynes located 1125 Success Lane in Huffman Texas
(off FM 2100 just North of and across the street from the Wells Fargo Bank)
August 11th Event Details
Come shop & enjoy fun, food, and fundraisers to kick off the “Back to School” time in Huffman, Crosby, Dayton, Humble, Atascocita, Splendora, and New Caney. Visit some of the great little shops in the Lakefront Community of Huffman. The main focus for this event is to help crafters and small businesses promote their merchandise and services, and to help non-profit groups promote their efforts in our community. We will feature lots of goodies to help prepare for going back to school for families, kids, teachers, and school groups.

| Saturday, September 8, 2012 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Harvest Festival | Focus on fall decorations, football and sports items, school spirit, homecoming, and anything else related to harvest time and fall activities. |
| Saturday, October 13, 2012 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Support a Cause | Since October is Cancer Awareness Month, the focus will be items that support a cause; could be pink ribbon for cancer awareness, yellow ribbon for support our troops, puzzle icons for Autism awareness, etc. If a non-profit group has a specific cause they want to do some fundraising for, this would be the perfect event date for you! |
| Saturday, November 10, 2012 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Holiday Spectacular | This event date will be our Holiday Extravaganza with all the lights and trimmings; if you are going to participate in this event we will have several planning sessions to prepare and plan decorations. Focus would be all kinds of decorations for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, etc. such as centerpieces, wreaths, ornaments, yard décor, and gifts for shut-ins. We want to try a cookie & candy sale with recipe exchange, so each booth or group could provide their own goodies to sell. We could even try to put together a fundraising cookbook for our community of shops with all the recipes for the holidays that you want to share. |
| Saturday, December 8, 201210 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last Chance Santa Shop | Focus for this final 2012 event will be gifts for budget conscious buyers (especially for kids), teacher appreciation Christmas gifts, and gifts for shut-ins or the elderly. We’ll have a special Santa Shoppe area dedicated for kids up through age 13, where they can shop for family and friends. Sorry no parents will be allowed to help their kids shop; we will have some “North Pole Elves” standing by to help the kids with their shopping. Gift-wrapping will also be available for a small fee for gifts purchased on this day. |
